The roughing floats are professional accessories for mechanical power trowels, designed to level fresh concrete and remove screeding marks during the first stages of industrial floor processing.

Rough floating is carried out when the concrete is in the initial or advanced setting phase, when it is possible to walk on the slab without sinking. This operation also allows the incorporation of the first coats of Pavilux quartz dry-shake hardener, improving the surface strength of the floor.

The floats are the first tool used on the power trowel during finishing operations. When used without subsequent passes with finishing blades, they allow the creation of porous and open surfaces, ideal for external floors requiring high anti-slip grip.

Made from tempered carbon steel, they ensure controlled abrasiveness, suitable flexibility, and long operational life.

Each float is equipped with a bracket with attachment clip, compatible with both:

• finishing blades (more flexible action),

• combination blades (more rigid action).

The floats are driven by the power trowel blades and are supplied in packs of 4 pieces.
