The Isoplam medium-density abrasive backing pad Ø150 mm is the accessory designed to ensure stable and effective fixing of abrasive discs on orbital and random orbital sanders. Its intermediate rigidity provides the ideal balance between control, material removal capacity and finishing quality, making it suitable for a wide range of sanding and grinding applications.

The backing pad features a hook-and-loop Velcro surface that allows quick and secure abrasive changes. The multi-hole design ensures efficient dust extraction during sanding operations, improving the cleanliness of the working area and extending abrasive life. It is compatible with abrasive discs featuring 6-hole, 6+1 hole, 15-hole and 48-hole patterns.

To extend the service life of the backing pad, the use of the Isoplam backing pad protector A016007 is recommended. Sold separately, it reduces Velcro wear during intensive working operations.
