Joints for architectural exposed aggregate flooring are co-extruded expansion profiles consisting of a robust impact-resistant, non-toxic vinyl resin structure and a flexible expansion section made of soft vinyl resin, designed to effectively absorb substrate movements. The integrated perforated flanges ensure secure anchorage and controlled movement of the profile throughout the service life of the flooring.
The plastic joints can also be used for tile installation, ensuring protection and aesthetic continuity. The rigid vinyl resin section protects the edges of the covering even in the presence of vehicle traffic with rubber tyres, while the flexible expansion section, made of soft resin, provides resistance to fungi, bacteria and UV rays, ensuring long-term durability.
The 10 mm exposed surface ensures precise definition of the joint within the flooring. The profile can be bonded to the substrate using Plam Plaster Isoplam, ensuring high-performance adhesion.
