Fibre in polipropilene

White polypropylene microfibers used in the preparation of concrete for industrial or stamped concrete flooring, in mixes for architectural flooring or thin-section cementitious overlays, and in mortar preparation, in order to increase the mechanical performance and long-term durability of the finished works while reducing maintenance costs.

Plam Fibre Isoplam bond perfectly with the mix, providing good tensile strength; they disperse quickly and uniformly throughout the concrete or mortar mix; they create a three-dimensional reinforcement within the mix, capable of counteracting plastic shrinkage stresses during the setting of the concrete or mortar, resulting in a significant reduction in cracking; they reduce the permeability of concrete or mortar, thereby increasing its durability; in hardened concrete, they improve mechanical resistance to abrasion, impact, compression and flexure, freeze-thaw cycles and fire; they improve the plastic properties of the mix, thereby facilitating its application.

The Isoplam microfibers are supplied in biodegradable bags and are available in a length of 6 mm for thin-section overlays, plasters and mortars, exposed aggregate concrete mixes, and in a length of 18 mm for concrete used in cloud-effect, stamped or industrial flooring.
