Micro Flat

The new Micro Flat is a continuous low-thickness coating with a smooth appearance, characterised by light dark nuances typical of the manually created processing. Micro Flat preserves the robustness of traditional concrete in only 3 mm thick and allows maximum attention to detail and high aesthetic value, both in ex novo applications and in renovations of existing surfaces.

The excellent adhesion skills, in fact, mean that Micro Flat can be applied, by means of appropriate primers, on various types of supports and materials without the need to remove them (plasterboard, ceramics, marble, mosaic, tiles, sand-cement screed, self-levelling, concrete, wood, plastic, glass).

The pros of the product

Micro Flat proved to be the ideal solution not only for its aesthetic effect that effectively defines the decisive character of an industrial or contemporary context but also for the high capacities of resistance to wear and impact, necessary in environments subject to high attendance such as public buildings and sites of historical-cultural interest (such as museums, exhibition spaces, aggregation areas, etc.).

The absence of joints or joints makes the surface hygienic and easy to clean, also compatible with underfloor or wall heating, and minimising the need for maintenance over time. In addition, it is a safe product with low environmental impact: its different components are formulated based on water and are free of formaldehyde, therefore they do not release dangerous substances for the health of people and the environment.

Application

FLOOR:

Grinding of the concrete surface, screed, self-levelling compound or tiled floor.
Application of Vapor Barrier reinforced with fibreglass mesh.
Application of Microverlay Medium, followed by intermediate sanding and cleaning.
Application of Microverlay Finish, followed by intermediate sanding and cleaning.
Once fully cured, application of the appropriate final protective sealer.

WALL:

Cleaning of the plaster substrate.
Application of Deco Primer Finish.
Application of Microverlay Medium, followed by sanding and cleaning.
Application of Microverlay Finish, followed by sanding and cleaning.
Once fully cured, application of the appropriate final protective sealer.
