Deco Acidificato by Isoplam is a continuous cement-based flooring system that elevates concrete from a structural material to a creative and decorative medium. The union of technology and matter
Deco Acidificato by Isoplam is created using a special water-based colouring treatment containing metallic salts, which is sprayed onto the existing concrete floor.
As they penetrate the material, the components react chemically with one another, altering the colour of the cement-based substrate – whether thin or thick – without affecting its original technical properties.
The result is a surface with a rich, shifting appearance, completely non-toxic and safe, while retaining all the structural performance of concrete, including dimensional stability, durability and resistance to wear, abrasion, stains and heavy traffic.
A resource to recover and enhance the existing
Deco Acidificato reveals its full decorative potential particularly in renovation projects: it makes it possible to renew and enhance existing concrete surfaces without demolition, giving them a new expressive character.
The colour of the surface changes permanently and, depending on the chromatic intensity of the original base, very different results can be achieved, further emphasising the unique character of each surface.
A floor created with Deco Acidificato does not fade or wear away and retains its appearance over time, regardless of the original substrate. It can be created both on Microverlay surfaces, Isoplam’s microcement just 2 mm thick, and on Deco Nuvolato surfaces, Isoplam’s concrete flooring characterised by a soft, subtly mottled effect.
