Some colours are not created simply to decorate, but to tell a story. Madre Terra is the new colour palette by Isoplam, inspired by extensive research into colour as origin, memory and a generative principle of living matter. Alloro, Grano, Fango, Cotto and Lino are the five shades that define the palette: warm, natural colours shaped by light and time, rooted in the earth to give form to essential surfaces, natural harmonies and timeless architecture.
Far more than a simple selection of colours, Madre Terra is a sensory atlas conceived to create a dialogue between continuous surfaces and pure volumes and the everyday experience of residential, contract and hospitality spaces. Each shade preserves the visual memory of the natural materials that inspired it, interpreting the surface as a living, evolving architectural element, capable of evoking memories and stirring emotions.
From colour to real project
Developed in Isoplam’s in-house laboratories, the Madre Terra palette was created to be interpreted through Microverlay, the continuous cement-based coating that retains the strength of traditional concrete in a thickness of just 3 mm, creating durable, seamless surfaces defined by exceptional formal purity.
Ideal for both new applications and renovation projects, Microverlay microcement can be used not only on floors and walls, but also on furniture and decorative elements, making it possible to create interiors with a minimalist yet highly expressive total look. Thanks to its water-repellent properties, Microverlay can also be used in areas frequently exposed to water, such as shower enclosures, washbasins, worktops, kitchen countertops and pool surrounds. Extremely easy to clean, it is also compatible with underfloor and wall heating systems, helping to optimise heat diffusion and ensure an even, consistent distribution of warmth throughout the space.
Available in a range of finishes and textures, Microverlay interprets the Madre Terra palette and translates it into a conscious, essential architectural language that transcends fleeting trends. It expresses a design vision in which surfaces are not simply backgrounds, but narrative elements capable of enduring over time, preserving its memory and transforming it into an everyday experience.
