The fiberglass reinforcement and anti-cracking mesh is used for the installation of epoxy substrates for the subsequent application of Microverlay microcement, Terrazzoverlay micro terrazzo, and Skyconcrete Isoplam low-thickness power-troweled systems. It can also be used as reinforcement for mortars and plasters, cementitious waterproofing membranes, and external thermal insulation (ETICS) systems. The fiberglass reinforcement is alkali-resistant and offers high resistance to corrosion caused by the alkalis present in cement. Fiberglass meshes provide impact resistance and help reduce stresses caused by thermal expansion and contraction, as well as material shrinkage, preventing the formation of cracks and surface crazing. The material they are made of also contributes to electrical and electromagnetic insulation. The alkali-resistant mesh is supplied in 50 m² rolls.
