Construction Joint Type D

Giunto resistente per pavimentazioni industriali

The Isoplam Type D Construction Joint is a pre-assembled technical element designed to ensure structural continuity in concrete flooring. Its configuration enables effective load transfer between the different sections of the slab, helping to maintain surface regularity even under intense stress.

Made of S235 steel plates and equipped with partially sleeved S275 or S355 round bars, the profile ensures controlled behaviour in response to thermal and hygrometric movements of the screed. The solution prevents unwanted adhesion of the concrete to the bars, ensuring sliding, durability and consistent performance over time.

Thanks to its welded metal anchors and joint system with dedicated screws, the Type D Construction Joint integrates precisely during the concrete pouring phase, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor industrial flooring subjected to heavy vehicle traffic. A reliable solution for designers and contractors seeking flatness, stability and a long service life for the floor.
