A great space for meeting, knowledge and light. In the Library & Big Hall of the H-Farm campus, the Deco Cloudy Isoplam in Light Gray shades becomes continuous matter that accompanies the architecture of Richard Rogers.
The Library & Big Hall project forms part of the wider vision for the H-Farm campus – a large-scale educational and technology ecosystem where architecture, landscape and functionality come together.
Within this context, the choice of flooring plays a strategic role: the Light Gray clouded finish provides a neutral, refined backdrop that adapts to the different functions of the spaces – from the library to the conference areas – while creating a visual dialogue with the expansive glazed surfaces, transparent volumes and surrounding natural landscape.
From a technical perspective, Deco Nuvolato fully meets the requirements of high-traffic public spaces: a seamless surface, reduced thickness and a matt finish that ensures visual comfort and a clean, refined aesthetic. The flooring becomes an integral architectural element, interacting with light and enhancing the sense of space within the expansive hall.
The seamless flooring extends throughout the large interiors of the Library & Big Hall, creating a material connection between the different functional areas: from the library to the foyer, from the conference hall to the lounge areas. The Light Gray shade plays a key role in conveying lightness and depth, while the distinctive clouded texture creates a balanced and harmonious visual effect.
The architects at Zanon Architetti Associati, in collaboration with Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, transformed the flooring into a coherent architectural element, designed to interact with light and amplify the spatial perception of the large hall. The project was awarded “Italian Architect 2020”.
