A washed gravel pavement for a poolside overlooking Lake Garda.

For this residence in Bardolino, overlooking Lake Garda, a seamless ItalianTerrazzo® exposed aggregate surface was created for the pool surround, sun terrace and outdoor walkways.

The surface establishes a natural dialogue with the surrounding landscape, enhancing the outdoor spaces through a tactile, natural aesthetic.

A blend of locally sourced aggregates gives the flooring a bright, balanced appearance that harmonises with the garden greenery, the water of the pool and the characteristic tones of the Lake Garda landscape.

The continuity of the flooring across the pool surround, sunbathing areas and pedestrian walkways helps define a harmonious and functional outdoor environment.

The absence of visual interruptions allows the entire project to be perceived as one cohesive space, enhancing both its architectural quality and the usability of the outdoor areas.

The flooring design focuses on achieving a balance between materials, colours and landscape, bringing the pool surround, sun terrace and pedestrian routes together within a single continuous system.

The result is a solution that interprets the outdoor space as a natural extension of the architecture.
