40,000 square metres of industrial excellence: Isoplam’s Pavilux Crystalquarz for the new Unox City plant, the new production centre of the leading company in the professional oven sector.

At the heart of Unox City, 60,000 sqm are dedicated to production and logistics, alongside 4,000 sqm for research and development and a further 2,000 sqm devoted to staff facilities and relaxation areas.

In such a complex environment, where highly automated machinery, vehicles for internal and external material handling, and people operate side by side, the choice of flooring had to meet essential requirements in terms of mechanical strength, durability and, above all, safety.

Isoplam Pavilux Crystalquarz, a seamless cement-based flooring system specifically formulated for high-intensity industrial environments, integrates seamlessly into the architectural and engineering design of Unox City.

Applied as a dry-shake hardener over fresh concrete and used across 40,000 sqm of flooring, the system features a high-density surface structure that provides excellent resistance to wear, abrasion and accidental impact.

The smooth, seamless surface facilitates cleaning and sanitisation – essential in environments where oils and greases may be present – while also complementing the architectural identity of the complex: clean, functional and rigorous.

The high-performance surface hardener facilitates cleaning operations and enhances slip resistance, while reducing the need for frequent and costly maintenance, helping the floor maintain its performance and appearance over time.
