An experiential space in the heart of Val di Non that tells the culture of the apple through architecture, light and matter on a cloudy pavement.
In the heart of Val di Non, Mondo Melinda is born, the visitor centre designed by Studio JAW to tell the apple supply chain and the link between agricultural production and alpine territory.
The project integrates exhibition spaces, retail area, lounge and tasting areas, transforming the visit into an immersive path that accompanies the public to discover the Melinda cooperative identity.
The interior architecture creates a sequence of highly distinctive spaces through the use of natural wood, micro-perforated metal surfaces and dramatic lighting installations.
Expansive volumes alternate with more intimate areas along the route, creating a spatial narrative that evokes the valley landscape and the region’s agricultural heritage.
To ensure visual continuity and durability in a high-traffic environment, Deco Nuvolato seamless flooring was selected.
The surface guides visitors through exhibition, retail and lounge areas, providing a neutral, tactile backdrop that enhances the materials, furnishings and interplay of light, while delivering high technical performance and ease of maintenance.
