Micro Velvet
Micro Velvet by Isoplam is the latest evolution of Microverlay, combining a soft, marble-like appearance with the strength and versatility of concrete in just 3 mm of thickness.
Its subtly irregular texture creates a surface that is gently slip-resistant while remaining smooth and pleasant to the touch.
Thanks to its excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates—including plasterboard, ceramic, marble, mosaic, tiles, sand-cement screeds, concrete, wood, plastic and glass—and its ultra-thin application, which allows it to be applied directly over existing surfaces, Micro Velvet is the ideal solution not only for floors, columns and staircases, but also for cladding furniture and interior design elements.
Micro Velvet, moreover, allows you to create vertical textures and bring the cement into the third dimension, thanks to its flexibility and Isoplam decorative tools.

FLOOR:
- Grinding of the concrete surface, screed, self-levelling compound or tiled floor.
- Application of Vapor Barrier reinforced with fibreglass mesh.
- Application of Microverlay Base Stardust, followed by intermediate sanding and cleaning.
- Application of Microverlay Finish, followed by intermediate sanding and cleaning.
- Once fully cured, application of the appropriate final protective sealer.
WALL:
- Cleaning of the plaster substrate.
- Application of Deco Primer Finish.
- Application of Microverlay Base Stardust, followed by sanding and cleaning.
- Application of Microverlay Finish, followed by sanding and cleaning.
- Once fully cured, application of the appropriate final protective sealer.
