Construction Joint Type E

The Isoplam Type E Construction Joint is a pre-assembled permanent system designed to ensure structural continuity in concrete flooring. Its S235 steel configuration and design developed for anchoring to the concrete pour ensure effective load transfer between the different sections of the slab.

Thanks to the presence of ribbed load-transfer bars, the joint accommodates thermal and hygrometric movements of the screed, reducing the risk of cracking, edge spalling and loss of flatness. This allows high performance to be maintained even in the presence of temperature fluctuations or concrete shrinkage, in compliance with UNI 11146:2005.

Robust and reliable, the Type E Construction Joint is widely used in indoor and outdoor industrial flooring subjected to vehicle traffic and heavy loads. Its contribution to load transfer and floor stability makes it an ideal technical solution for designers, contractors and high-durability applications.
