Isoplam Dowels are sacrificial elements consisting of smooth round bars made of S275JR+AR structural steel for construction, with a low carbon content and natural rolling condition. They are CE certified in accordance with EN 10025-2/2019. Isoplam construction joint dowels are available in diameters ranging from 14 to 20 mm. The dowel is used as a load-transfer bar between two concrete slabs in industrial flooring, with the function of preventing vertical movements while accommodating horizontal movements. When used with Isoplam Construction Joints, the dowel is inserted into the dedicated opening provided in the joint. In this case, the dowel is supplied with a plastic sleeve secured at the end by a plastic cap.
