Micro Compact

Resistant, compact and with a surprisingly velvety touch: Micro Compact is the new continuous coating signed Isoplam that transforms microcement into an architectural surface with a sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic.

Characterised by a uniform look and a pleasant soft-touch effect, Micro Compact in only 2 mm thickness evokes the sober elegance of cement plaster but greatly enhances its performance in terms of versatility, resistance and durability, allowing you to easily renew walls, floors and much more.

Made with a particular cement base and natural aggregates, Micro Compact is distinguished by its particularly thin thickness – only 2 mm – and by the excellent adhesion, which allow its application on any material or support (gypsumboard, ceramics, marble, mosaic, tiles, screed, cement, wood, etc.), on curved and irregularly shaped surfaces.

The pros of the product

Traffic-resistant, breathable and waterproof, Micro Compact can also be used in outdoor environments and in high humidity spaces, such as bathrooms, swimming pools and spas. Finally, good thermal conductivity makes it fully compatible with underfloor and wall heating systems. Available with both matte and glossy finishes, Micro Compact offers endless customisation possibilities in terms of colour.

In addition to the shades present in the Isoplam catalogue, the coating can also be realised in the new Sunset Glow colour palette, a mix of shades studied by the company’s internal laboratory with the aim of integrating the beauty of nature into the built environment. The absence of joints or joints makes Micro Compact microcement a hygienic continuous surface that is extremely easy to clean.

Application

FLOOR:

Grinding of the concrete surface, screed, self-levelling compound or tiled floor.
Application of Vapor Barrier reinforced with fibreglass mesh.
Application of Microverlay Medium, followed by intermediate sanding and cleaning.
Application of a second coat of Microverlay Medium, followed by intermediate sanding and cleaning.
Once fully cured, application of the appropriate final protective sealer.

WALL:

Cleaning of the plaster substrate.
Application of Deco Primer Finish.
Application of Microverlay Medium, followed by sanding and cleaning.
Application of a second coat of Microverlay Medium, followed by sanding and cleaning.
