CAM Construction: Isoplam among the first companies to certify the entire range of cement solutions according to UNI/PdR 88:2020

The company is among the first manufacturers of flooring and architectural surface solutions to certify the recycled, recovered or by-product material content across its entire range, in line with the requirements of the CAM for the construction sector and the new opportunities associated with the 2026 Housing Plan.

Isoplam – a Treviso-based company specialising in the production and installation of continuous cement-based surfaces – has obtained UNI/PdR 88:2020 certification for its entire range of solutions, verifying the content of recycled, recovered or by-product materials used in its coatings.

With this achievement, Isoplam ranks among the first companies specialising in cement-based premixed products to extensively certify its entire product range, marking another step forward in its commitment to sustainable innovation.

UNI/PdR 88:2020 certification: a concrete support for public housing

“The decision to certify not just a single product, but the entire system of flooring and surface solutions,” says Francesca Martignago, Sales Director at Isoplam, “reflects our commitment to providing architects, contractors and contracting authorities with clear, verifiable technical documentation aligned with the evolving requirements of the construction industry.

In a market increasingly focused on the documented verification of environmental performance, having a recognised certification is becoming a key factor in simplifying the design process, the preparation of technical specifications and participation in tender procedures, particularly in the public sector.”

Isoplam’s investment in UNI/PdR 88:2020 certification is part of a broader corporate strategy aimed at reducing exclusive reliance on newly extracted raw materials by reintroducing recycled, recovered or by-product materials into the production cycle.

This approach helps reduce the consumption of natural resources, while maintaining the technical performance, durability and aesthetic quality that distinguish Isoplam surfaces.

CAM certified products for new public and residential interventions

““For Isoplam,” continues Francesca Martignago, “sustainability is not a secondary consideration, but a clear direction guiding both our design approach and production processes. We chose to certify the entire range because we believe that today’s construction industry needs solutions that not only deliver high performance, but also offer transparent sustainability credentials that can be easily measured and documented, helping to make more responsible construction a tangible reality.”

The certification is particularly relevant today in light of the CAM for the construction sector, updated on 2 February 2026, which strengthen the role of Minimum Environmental Criteria in public contracts for design and construction works. In this context, a company’s ability to demonstrate the content of recycled, recovered or by-product materials through recognised certification is becoming an increasingly strategic requirement for the inclusion of its solutions in technical specifications and public tender documents.

The 2026 Housing Plan, focused on bringing unused public housing stock back into use, increasing the supply of affordable housing and promoting urban regeneration, also reflects the growing emphasis on construction projects capable of combining construction quality, durability, efficiency and documented sustainability.

Against this backdrop, the UNI/PdR 88:2020 certification of Isoplam’s entire product range enables architects, contractors and contracting authorities to identify continuous cement-based solutions supported by technical documentation aligned with public-sector requirements and with the evolving environmental criteria applied to the construction industry.
